My Top Favorite LoL Champions

IN CONSTRUCTION: I am currently working on a pros list for each champion. The following pros lists you see are not completed, just a start.

Here are my top favorite LoL champions based on my own experiences. I just recently started so I'm not that high in level yet. As I get to try out more champions, this list might update. Not in any particular order. Some of you might disagree with my choices. I'm not saying that the following champions are the BEST; I'm just saying that these are the champions I like to play with. Also, as you read through this post, you'll probably notice that my favorite champions tend to be AP-based or ranged.

Ahri the Nine-Tailed Fox

Hard to gank with Spirit Rush
E ability allows you to charm your opponents over to your waiting team
Q deals true damage on its way back

Ezreal the Prodigal Explorer

Global ultimate
W ability takes champions as priority targets
Good escape with E ability. Can be used to widen distance, jump over walls, or position yourself behind opponents to strike
Easy to kite with
High skill cap required (skill shots)

Teemo the Swift Scout

E ability's passive: poison can quickly dwindle your opponent's health and finish the kill if he ever tries to run away low on health
Hard to defeat because of speed (from passive and W)
Passive allows for invisibility which makes him hard to find
Shrooms! What's more satisfying than seeing an opponent walk into a bush laden with shrooms?

Diana the Scorn of the Moon

Ult has no cooldown, provided that you land your Q first. Also a great gap closer
Even if your ult does go on cooldown, the duration is very short (around 20 seconds only)
Tanky assassin for more laning
W ability adds a shield that will deal damage to nearby opponents/minions
Passive (cleaves nearby opponents in an arc on third basic attack) and W combined can make a great farming tool
E ability pulls back and slows opponents that try to run away
Q ability can be used to check bushes (the extent is sadly based on whether you are on blue or purple team)
Unfortunately, Diana has no means of escaping a fight so make sure you bring Flash!

Ashe the Frost Archer

W ability can take down multiple minions. Great farming tool
Q ability gives you your very own built-in Frozen Mallet. Your opponents will have lots of trouble trying to run away from you.
Unfortunately she is often considered to be a "noob" champion

Shen, Eye of Twilight

Ult allows you to quickly teleport to a fellow teammate and join a fight, giving him a global presence
Vorpal Blade gives allies some health back when attacking target
Shadow Dash marks struck enemies with Taunt
Feint can be used to block turret attacks and reduce damage in general
Excellent kit in general
A great top laner

Fiddlesticks the Harbinger of Doom

Self-sustaining in lane
Great jungler
Ult allows you to jump over walls and deal a ton of damage to opponents
Good usage of Fear will make it difficult for opponents to escape your Crow Storm or escape in general

Amumu the Sad Mummy

Ult can trap opponents which can be real game-turner in a team fight
Q ability acts as a gap closer
W ability will constantly lower your opponent's health by a percentage of his maximum health, so it's not affected by your opponent's armor. Just watch out for your mana!
E ability can be devastating and hit multiple surrounding enemies. The more Amumu is hit the faster the cooldown on Tantrum (E).

Katarina the Sinister Blade

Shunpo allows you to target an enemy or escape
Q and W combo makes for a great farming too. You can easily get above 200 CS in a game.
Death Lotus can easily be stopped by a stun but deals insane amounts of damage. Using it at the right moment can easily score you a triple, quadra, or even penta-kill
Natural cooldown reduction (from passive) is reliant on kills and assists

Sona the Maven of the Strings

Excellent support
A great first time support champion
Ult is great in immobilizing enemies
Can provide some nice buffs for both you and your allies
Sadly, she is sometimes considered to be a "face-roller" champion

Wukong the Monkey King

E ability allows you to hit multiple enemies. If done right, you can essentially deal damage to your opponents without getting hit yourself
W ability allows you to create a decoy and make yourself invisible. A great way to either sneak up on unsuspecting opponents or to run away from a fight
Ult allows you to knock up surrounding opponents for a brief moment. Using it at the right moment can give your team a great opportunity to get that Ace.

Vladimir the Crimson Reaper

Self-sustaining with Q ability
Ult allows for your team to deal massive damage to opponents
W ability makes you untargetable for a few seconds while also dealing magic damage. Use it to either run away or to avoid opponent's ult (such as Ashe's Enchanted Crystal Arrow and Fiddlestick's Crow Storm)

Orianna Reveck, the Lady of Clockwork

Difficult to use but highly rewarding
The need to focus on both Orianna's and her ball's locations can easily distract you and get you killed
Need to always be in range of enemy champions no matter how far your ball might appear to be in enemy territory
Good AoE damage
Ult knocks back opponents which can give you a good chance to escape if necessary
W speeds up allies and yourself while it slows down enemy champions. It can be your very own Ghost in tight situations

Malzahar the Prophet of the Void

Excellent AoE abilities
Excellent solo pusher (Maybe too good of a pusher?)
Q can silence enemy champions but its delay makes timing a bit tricky
Ult roots an enemy to the spot and deals an insane amount of damage but be cautious of having your casting interrupted
